Allyson B. Baumeister, a dynamic and dedicated professional, joined Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, LLP in 2000 as an officer and shareholder.
Allyson works tirelessly for businesses of all sizes, maintaining a primary focus on business tax and consulting. She provides her clients with creative resolutions for technical business tax issues and clearly interprets proposed and existing business tax law. Two of Allyson’s principal concentrations are the oil and gas industry and healthcare industry. She analyzes the tax and financial effects of proposed business transactions, combinations, and restructurings for her oil and gas and healthcare clients. Additionally, she services clients in a variety of industries including construction, professional services, manufacturing, and farm and ranch. Moreover, her thorough experience with trusts and estates allows her to deftly guide clients through the complicated legislation and the intricate processes involved in compliance, maximization of returns, and sustaining business and family wealth.
Ms. Baumeister first gained knowledge and experience working for several years in a national firm, in a small firm environment, and in solo practice. Her extensive tax experience bolsters SB&F’s talented staff and cultivates client relationships and makes her an invaluable member of the professional and civic communities.
Besides having written several articles for the Texas Society of CPA member communications, Ms. Baumeister is also a frequent and respected lecturer. She has spoken at national continuing education seminars sponsored by the American Institute of CPAs and is currently traveling through several states presenting an eight-hour seminar for owners of CPA firms. When not traveling and speaking at out-of-state events, Ms. Baumeister imparts crucial financial guidance and solutions for local professional groups in the North Texas area.
Her warm personality and commitment to excellence are exemplified in her active service and participation with both the American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs. She is currently serving a three-year term as one of the 23 Board members of the AICPA, an extremely prestigious position. She also serves as a member of AICPA Council. In addition, she is on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Texas Society of CPAs. Ms. Baumeister is membership chair of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. She also served as President of the Fort Worth Chapter of TSCPA (1999-2000).
Ms. Baumeister was honored by the Fort Worth Business Press as one of the 2009 Great Women of Texas. Ms. Baumeister’s other awards include both the Texas Society of CPAs CPA of the Year (2011), LoneStar Pathfinder award (2002), and Young CPA of the Year award (1996). Senate Resolution No. 329 from the Senate of Texas in 1997 recorded her Young CPA honor in the state archives. She also is the recipient of the Fort Worth Chapter of TSCPA’s Young CPA of the Year award (1994-1995) and was one of the Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 recipients in 1996. Additionally, Ms. Baumeister was honored by the YWCA of Fort Worth and Tarrant County in its 2003 Tribute to Women in Business.
