Rick Baumeister has been catalyzing client business growth and profits since 1984. His work with businesses and their owners confidently resolves technical tax planning and compliance issues. A prolific writer and lecturer, Mr. Baumeister publishes informative articles and presents frequently at seminars. The Texas Society of CPAs and other professional groups have enjoyed his dynamic style via guest lectures and other educational opportunities for two decades. He was an instructor for the Becker CPA Review course for over 10 years. He is an influential member in numerous professional organizations, and his prior leadership positions include past President of the Texas Society of CPAs, Fort Worth Chapter and past Chairman of the Texas Management Group (a group of elite CPA firms located throughout the Southwest). Rick is now President-Elect for DFK International/USA, Inc., an international association of independent accounting and management consulting firms. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas Society of CPAs and has served five terms on the Executive Board, its key governing body. He’s a member of the American Institute of CPAs, for whom he served on the Joint Trial Board, and is recently fulfilled three-year term on the Advisory Board for the School of Business at the University of Kansas.

Fort Worth and North Texas communities are foremost recipients of his civic spirit. He’s generously involved in civic and charitable organizations,as he was Pesident of Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s Alumni Association of Fort Worth for two terms, overseeing an organization with well over 2,000 members. He also dedicated his time as a past president of the Downtown Sertoma Club of Fort Worth, the oldest service organization in North America. Currently, Mr. Baumeister enjoys membership in the Rotary Club of Downtown Fort Worth where he has held leadership positions on numerous committees. His influential involvement in the Golf Tournament Sales Committee for Colonial Country Club assisted in raising several million dollars for local charities,including Cook Children’s Hospital. In addition to these prestigious appointments, Mr. Baumeister has contributed his financial knowledge and critical insight to Fort Worth Country Day School as a former member of their school’s Finance and Audit Committees.

Committed to the continued growth and prosperity of Fort Worth, Rick Baumeister is Co-General Partner for seven private real estate partnerships which collectively own and operate over 300,000 square feet of commercial space in Dallas/Fort Worth and San Angelo, Texas.

Rick Baumeister earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and in Business Administration at the University of Kansas.
